Zuriely’s quinceanera was being planned for a while and finally they day was here! Zuriely goes by Zury, she was huge part of the planning of her quince!

We arrived to Zury’s home early in the morning to make sure that we capture the getting ready details. This was a great experience because her sister Roselyn was helping her with the final touches of the hair and make-up. What makes this a great experience is that a couple of years ago, we were fortunate to also photograph Roselyn’s quinceanera which at that time Zury was the one that helped Roselyn with her final touches of her hair and make-up!

After the hair and make-up was completed, her parents came along to give her their blessing before stepping out side to the beginning of her special day!

The ceremony took place at the St. Charles Borromeo church in Sacramento CA. I noticed that there was many of her family and friends present to be part of her beautiful ceremony. We almost had a full church. Being surrounded by all of the people that loves her during the ceremony was a very especial to experience!

After the ceremony, we had a few minutes to take photos of her court and friends. This session is always fun because we take a few photos of the quinceanera along with her chambelanes, damas, friends and anyone else that fits in the limo!

We only had a few minutes during this session before heading to the reception.

The reception was at a nice ranch located in a venue outside of Sacramento. As we arrived I noticed that there were a lot beautiful of decorations all over the venue. We were able to take photos of some of the arrangements as they were getting done.

Everyone had some time to sit down and enjoy appetizers and refreshments. The temperature at that time was in the 100 degrees!

After it cooled off a bit in the evening, it was time to begin the vals followed by a dace with her parents and a few family members.

The las dance was the amazing surprise dance with different songs and even a full flipped by Zury and her Chambelanes!

As we were moving towards the end of the night, it was time to cut the cake and watch a slide show that her parents put together to remember when Zury was a little girl. This was very emotional for her and her family to watch.

After the slide show and some tears of happiness, the dance floor opened up! This was where everyone got up of their seat and joined Zury to dance with her all night to an unforgettable day!
