In July, we had the pleasure of capturing Jazlene's pre-event photo session at the UC Davis Arboretum, a beautiful spot filled with tall redwood trees. It was a hot summer day, but luckily the shade from the trees gave us some relief from the heat. Jazlene was full of energy and excitement, making it easy to capture some amazing photographs despite the weather.
We took our time walking around the arboretum, making sure to find the best spots to highlight the stunning natural surroundings, which complemented Jazlene’s look perfectly. Her vibrant spirit really shined through in each photo, and it was a pleasure to document this special moment before her big quinceañera day.
One tip I always recommend for hot days like this is to stay hydrated and make sure you’ve had a meal before the session. It helps keep your energy up so you can feel your best throughout the day. Jazlene did just that, and her enthusiasm never wavered despite the high temperatures. I’m looking forward to sharing these photos and seeing how they add to the excitement of her upcoming quinceañera celebration!
